We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer – Payroll and Administration to join our Human Resources team. The role is primarily responsible for accurate payroll processing and supporting day-to-day HR operations such as employee records management, recruitment assistance, and compliance monitoring. This position requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and a working knowledge of HRIS systems.
Payroll & HRIS Management
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time.
- Verify attendance, overtime, leaves, deductions, and adjustments before payroll cut-off.
- Maintain employee data and payroll records in the HRIS system.
- Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
- Prepare and generate regular payroll reports and summaries for management.
Human Resources & Administration
- Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain organized and updated employee files and records.
- Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and screening applicants.
- Help implement HR policies, procedures, and internal communications.
- Handle employee inquiries related to HR and benefits.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years HR experience, with strong exposure to payroll processing.
- Familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems (e.g., Sprout, Salarium, or similar).
- Good understanding of Philippine labor laws and government statutory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic reporting.
