Role Purpose
The Compensation & Benefits Senior Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing total rewards strategies, policies, and programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees while ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and implement compensation and benefits frameworks aligned with Company's business strategy and People & Culture objectives.
- Lead salary structure reviews, job evaluation, and market benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Oversee employee benefits programs (healthcare, insurance, retirement plans, allowances, wellness initiatives), ensuring cost-effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Manage annual compensation planning cycles including merit increases, salary adjustments, and incentive/bonus programs.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership to provide guidance on rewards strategy, pay positioning, and retention packages for key talent.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and internal policies on compensation and benefits.
- Monitor C&B trends in FMCG and relevant industries, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage vendor relationships with benefits providers (healthcare, insurance, retirement fund administrators).
- Drive data analytics, reporting, and insights on compensation metrics, benefits utilization, and workforce cost management.
- Lead and develop the C&B team to ensure delivery of high-quality support and advisory services.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; postgraduate degree or certifications (e.g., CCP, GRP) preferred.
- At least 8–10 years of progressive HR experience with strong focus on compensation & benefits, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or similarly complex organizations.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role, managing C&B programs and teams.
- Strong expertise in job evaluation, market benchmarking, salary structuring, and benefits management.
- Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in HR systems, data management, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
