About The Team
The Chinese Translator will be responsible for translating written and verbal content from Chinese to English and/or English to Chinese while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness. The role supports cross-functional teams by providing timely and high-quality translations for business communications, documents, and other content.

Job Description

  • Translate and interpret emails, reports, SOPs, presentations, guidelines, and operational instructions during warehouse meetings, calls, or walkthroughs (online and onsite) to facilitate clear communication.
  • Review, proofread, and edit translated content to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, and consistent use of warehouse and operational terminology.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, HR, safety, product) to clarify context and ensure correct translation of technical or sensitive warehouse information.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data privacy at all times.
  • Support document preparation by formatting, organizing, and ensuring translated files are properly labeled, stored, and accessible for warehouse operations.
  • Assist in reviewing English-language materials such as policies, contracts, operational procedures, or external communications to validate meaning and intent.
  • Monitor deadlines and manage translation priorities to ensure timely delivery of warehouse-related tasks.
  • Provide cultural insights or context when needed to support business decisions, communications, or training within the warehouse.
  • Perform simple data processing tasks to support reporting, documentation, inventory tracking, or other operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Mandarin (verbal and written)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment to drive key business objectives
  • Able to deliver quality work while meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in the e-commerce industry is a plus
  • Willing to be assigned in Meycauayan, Bulacan
