PURPOSE: Have a passion for baking and a keen eye for detail, producing a wide range of baked goods to meet our customers' demands while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Ensure that all products are produced in a timely manner and meet quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
  • Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to achieve optimal results for each product.
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately, following recipes and portion sizes.
  • Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings for various baked goods, including proofing and shaping as necessary.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Report any malfunctions or repairs needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Formal education or training in culinary arts, baking, or pastry arts from a vocational school

EXPERIENCE: Proven experience as a baker in a bakery, pastry shop, or similar environment.

SKILLS:

  • Detail oriented.
  • Thorough knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Patient, honest and trustworthy
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately

SUPERVISION: Standard; attention to detail required.

Pay: Php86.88 per hour
