Strategy, Transformation, and Business Development Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Execution
● Support the rollout of group strategy across iPeople's higher education institutions, ensuring alignment with the One Page Strategic Plan (OPSP).
● Monitor and report progress against Strategic Objectives (SOs) and Key Results Areas (KRs); guide adjustments where required.
● Assist education units in shaping school-level strategies using frameworks, tools, and facilitation guides from the IPO.
Business Development & Partnerships
● Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities and partnerships that align with iPeople's strategic goals.
● Use market research and environmental scans to uncover emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and potential revenue streams.
● Help lead negotiations, relationship management, and onboarding for partner organizations, ensuring mutual value creation and compliance.
● Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and institutional teams to design and implement growth campaigns and business development initiatives.
Project & Stakeholder Management
● Coordinate with leads across schools and units to ensure alignment, data consistency, and timely delivery of key outputs.
● Organize and facilitate workshops, consultations, and learning sessions for internal teams.
● Maintain initiative trackers, status updates, and implementation timelines for transformation and business development projects.
Executive Deliverables & Communications
● Edit and refine presentation materials, strategy decks, and synthesis reports for ManCom, the Board, and external stakeholders.
● Develop briefers, talking points, and summary reports for institutional engagements and partnership pitches.
Research & Insights
● Conduct desktop research, competitor benchmarking, and environmental scanning to inform strategy design and business development.
● Provide strategic and operational insights that support ongoing transformation programs and partnership development.
Innovation & Vertical Support
● Support the activation of group-wide partnerships by preparing playbooks, templates, and school-facing tools.
● Collaborate on innovation pilots and new verticals such as Student Experience and Re-enrollment, ensuring that business development considerations are integrated.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Policy, Education, Economics, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
● 3–6 years of relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, or education innovation.
● Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate complex projects.
● Demonstrated success in partnership development, market research, or revenue-generating initiatives.
● Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and strategic storytelling.
● Excellent written and verbal communication; synthesis and visualization skills are essential.
● Passion for education reform, systems thinking, and large-scale transformation.
Preferred Attributes
● Experience working in education, tech, consulting, or public-private partnerships.
● Prior involvement in strategy development, project implementation, business development, or student success programs.
● Ability to work independently, think critically, and contribute proactively in a lean, fast-paced team.
