Job Summary

The Visual Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, developing, and executing visual marketing strategies that enhance the mall's overall brand image, improve shopper experience, and drive foot traffic. This role ensures that all mall visuals—including signages, promotional displays, décor, and branding materials—are creative, cohesive, and aligned with marketing campaigns and seasonal events.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising & Display Execution

  • Conceptualize and implement mall-wide visual themes, décor, and displays for events, holidays, and promotions.
  • Develop creative visual layouts for common areas, display pods, kiosks, and promo booths.
  • Ensure visual marketing materials are aesthetically appealing, aligned to brand guidelines, and updated regularly.
  • Conduct regular visual checks to maintain the quality and consistency of all displays.

Marketing Collaterals & Branding

  • Design and produce print and digital marketing materials such as posters, banners, standees, digital signages, social media artwork, and mall directional visuals.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, printers, and production vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
  • Manage the installation, setup, and takedown of promotional signages, billboards, and window displays.

Campaign & Event Support

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop visual concepts for mall campaigns, seasonal activities, and tenant engagement programs.
  • Assist in planning and styling setups for mall events, pop-ups, exhibits, launches, and press/media gatherings.
  • Provide visual support to tenant campaigns and help maintain consistent mall-wide branding.

Mall Aesthetics & Shopper Experience

  • Maintain and enhance the mall's visual appeal through creative décor, wayfinding materials, and thematic designs.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to assess visual merchandising opportunities and ensure proper upkeep.
  • Study visual trends, competitor strategies, and shopper behavior to innovate mall visuals.

Coordination & Administration

  • Work closely with Mall Operations, Leasing, Engineering/Maintenance teams, and tenants for smooth execution of visual marketing activities.
  • Monitor visual marketing-related inventory, assets, and budget.
  • Ensure compliance with mall safety and installation guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Design, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, marketing, events, retail, or mall-related visual work.
  • Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
  • Skilled in styling, layout design, and visual composition.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Excellent time management and project coordination skills.
  • Willing to work on weekends or holidays during major mall events or installations.
