About the role

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced GIS MAPPER/GIS MAPPING SPECIALISTS to join our dynamic teams of graphic artists at RUTTA Consult Inc. 'in the Legazpi City, Albay, Region 5 office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in leveraging geographic information systems (GIS) to support our environmental planning and transport consulting services.

What you'll be doing

1. Crafting ROUTE MAPS and ROUTE STRUCTURES in the formulation of LGUs LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT ROUTE PLAN (LPTRP).
2. Creating and producing high-quality ADMINISTRATIVE MAPS and LOCATION MAPS OF MAJOR INDUSTRIES AND COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENTS, POPULATION DENSITY MAP, EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES MAP, ROAD NETWORK MAP, ROUTE MAPS, TRANSPORT TERMINALS MAP, PORTS AND AIRPORT MAP, RESIDENTIAL AREAS MAP, LAND USE MAP and visualizations to communicate complex environmental data
3. Developing and maintaining accurate GIS DATABASE and MAPPING SYSTEMS to support environmental assessments, planning, and decision-making
4. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to integrate GIS data and analysis into environmental planning and project delivery
5. Staying up to date with the latest GIS technologies, software, and best practices to enhance our service offerings
6. Providing technical support and training to colleagues on the use of GIS tools and applications

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING, ARCHITECTURE, ENGINEERING, URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING, or GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM, or any related field
2. FULLTIME, PARTTIME, or on per PROJECT BASIS. Parttime and Project Base is hybrid and can work sometimes in the office and sometimes at home but work deliverables submission must be follow the given schedules
3. Technical experience as GIS MAPPING SPECIALIST and full knowledge in using PHOTOSHOP and AUTOCAD is an advantage
4. Significant experience in the use of GIS software and tools, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar
5. Proficiency in spatial data management, analysis, and visualization techniques
6. Strong understanding of environmental planning principles, regulations, and best practices
7. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements
