About The Role:

Responsible for overseeing and managing all inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient storage, and timely replenishment of materials. The role involves coordinating with logistics, procurement, warehouse, and accounting teams to maintain accurate inventory records, monitor variances, and support financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily inventory operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.
  • Conduct regular and cycle counts, reconcile physical inventory with system records, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory availability based on forecast and demand.
  • Coordinate with accounting to validate inventory movements, cost adjustments, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports, including turnover rates, valuation, and slow-moving items.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize order levels and reduce excess inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements related to inventory management.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff on proper inventory procedures and documentation.
  • Participate in system improvements and automation related to inventory tracking and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or Accounting (or related field).
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a logistics or warehousing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
  • Background or working knowledge in basic accounting and reconciliation is preferred.
  • Proficient in ERP or inventory management software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
