This role manages the client's overall warehouse operation of Sucat Warehouse, which includes people management and ensuring optimum performance and productivity based on the set KPIs/ targets, and enforcing the operational procedures, company policies, and regulations.

Principal Tasks and Accountabilities of the Job:

  • Enforcement of operational and personnel procedures to increase warehouse & distribution performance & productivity. Monitor daily operational performance of the branch in relation to set KPIs.
  • Achieve financial target set and agreed upon with management, by preparing the annual budget; scheduling expenses; analyzing variances; & initiating adjustments & corrective actions related to all factors mentioned.
  • Implement ISO (IMS) standards and other regional policies, and governmental regulations, in all aspects of operations, environment, & administration & management of warehouse facilities.
  • Control & maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting & scheduling physical counts; & reconciling against the WMS (JDA) system. Coordination with the Inventory & Systems Officer.
  • Maintain the right deployment of warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees in accordance with existing policies & procedures.
  • Acquire and develop new accounts for the company's products with a focus on warehousing & distribution.
  • Identify and expand opportunities on existing base warehouse accounts & build and maintain a good business relationship with them.
  • Assists in the collection of overdue accounts receivable by coordinating with the client.
  • Compute and facilitate quotations for all warehouse inquiries & requirements.
  • Act as a backup and PIC (Person-In-Charge) in the absence of Warehouse Supervisors/Officers.
  • Finalize CAPA and other documentary needs in closing audit findings & operational errors to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Make warehouse materials & presentation resources readily available, such as PowerPoint, brochures, leaflets, and other marketing tools for potential warehouse clients' reference.
  • Conduct research & studies for new warehouse opportunities & how to continuously sustain and support its growth. Participate in Bids and other RFQs for warehousing & distribution within and outside the region. Coordinate with the assigned Warehouse
  • Sales personnel for the potential client pipeline and its business development.
  • Accomplish the Weekly & Monthly Warehouse & Distribution performance report.
  • Attend meetings, business invites & presentations, and ocular visits, conferences, seminars & training in accordance with the needs and mandate of the department, and organization. Also, to undertake travel for these enumerated purposes.
  • Close coordination and communication with the Head of Operations and Implementation
  • Accomplish tasks that may be assigned by the HOD from time to time

Skills and Competencies Required:

  • Proficient in Written and Verbal Communication Skills, Product Knowledge, Creativity,
  • Experience, Basic Computer Literacy, Microsoft Office & Database Skills, Market Analysis & Presentation Skills, Persistent, & with crunching numbers
  • Knowledge in warehousing, inventory, facilities management & sales & marketing
  • Good in time utilization and with project management capabilities
  • Very Good Teamwork, Managerial, & Leadership & Interpersonal skills
