The Corporate Finance General Accounting Senior Accountant ensures the accuracy and integrity of the Company's books of accounts. Ensures accurate and timely analyses of accounts, schedules/reports, reconciliations and financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and in compliance with the financial policies. The Senior General Accountant handles the monthly close process in a timely manner, adheres to strict reporting deadlines for pre-close and close as published in the Financial Closing Calendar and the SLA and performs a balance sheet review which includes resolving outstanding issues, reviewing bank accounts, accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, intercompany activity, accounts payable and deferred income/expense. Performs interface activities for fixed assets, accounts receivable, billing and payroll and resolves day to day issues related to the general ledger.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent in education and experience. CPA a plus years general accounting experience or 2 - 3 years as an Accountant with a proven proficiency in performing moderately complex accounting activities. In-depth knowledge of Excel required. Detail oriented, excellent follow-through skills, strong English language verbal and written communication skills. Effective time management skills, ability to work independently, familiarity with US currency. Knowledge of Oracle Financials a plus. Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Analytical and should have an eye for details. Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
