General Accountant- Senior

BizRA Global Solutions, Inc. is a business process outsourcing company focused on providing back-office services to local and off-shore entities. Successful candidates will be supporting our main and trusted partner, a Global financial service company via blockchain technology, legacy banking, and mobile financial services infrastructure.

BizRA is composed of telecom executives, start-up veterans, finance professionals, customer management professionals and is looking for a full-time Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains and reconciles balance sheet and general ledger accounts of the assigned client/s. This includes keeping track and monitoring of inter-company accounting activities.
• Maintains repository of historical financial data for the assigned client/s
• Assists in the audit (external and/or internal) of the assigned client/s, including preparing supporting schedules and documentations, and for potential due diligence reviews
• Investigates and resolves audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non- compliance, if any
• Contributes to the development of the existing accounting system, program, and procedures and internal controls over financial reporting
• Participates in meetings and consultations for accounting and finance management requirements of the client. This include close collaboration with local accounting teams to ensure compliance with statutory reporting and tax obligation of each country , with FP&A, HR, and Legal team to ensure proper accounting treatment, and communicate effectively across time zones and cultures to ensure timely coordination with local teams and external advisors.
• Perform the monthly closing process
• Assist in the consolidation under IFRS and US GAAP, incorporating results from international subsidiaries of the client
• Updates job knowledge by keeping current with regulations and accepted practices; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organization.
• Regularly provide performance feedback of the junior accountants, in coordination with the VP, Finance of the Company. This also includes performing coaching sessions, delegating tasks to them (with the approval of VP, Finance) and reviewing financial reports before endorsing to VP, Finance for approval on the Company's end.
• Exhibit adaptability and resilience in addressing challenges, ensuring that the team maintains productivity and morale in the client dynamic environment.
• Serve as a role model to the junior accountants by demonstrating ethical behavior, accountability, and a commitment to client service excellence.
• Work closely with the VP, Finance of the Company to ensure compliance on the assigned client's rules and regulations. This include but not limited to:
• Regularly informing the VP Finance of any relevant updates surrounding the client's accounting environment. Considering the inclusion of any communication regarding accounting critical matters that requires expert advice and/or strategic decision.
• Providing a summarized report of the team's client work accomplishments during a work week and items that need to be addressed.
• Assumes other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed by the Company's management.

Requirements/Qualifications

• You must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Accountancy
• You are a CPA (required) or ACCA affiliate (preferred)
• You have experience working Big Four (4) firms - Client Accounting Service i.e. International Taxation, US Accounting (preferred)
• 2+ years of previous work experience in finance, accounting, audit and tax
• 2+ years of experience in handling intercompany transactions- billing, calculation, paying, recording
• 1-2 years of experience in revenue transactions -digital asset, reconciliations, use of deFi tools
• With supervisory skills, able to take initiative, passionate and can work alongside the management team
• Experienced in using Netsuite (required)
• Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles; especially in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Deep understanding of the financial services in the regulatory environment e.g. Fintech, digital asset industry
• Fluent English, possessing superior communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• You can demonstrate your attention to detail, being able to quickly move your focus and multi-task.
