JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically proficient Google Tag Manager (Digital Analytics & Tagging Specialist) to manage website performance measurement ecosystem. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate tracking of user behavior across our digital properties, translating that data into actionable insights, and overseeing routine content and technical updates on the website.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our digital tracking and reporting infrastructure, combining technical implementation with strategic analysis.

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) Mastery: Design, implement, test, and maintain all tracking tags, triggers, and variables using Google Tag Manager (GTM). This includes collaborating with development teams to define, implement, and validate the Data Layer strategy to ensure clean and consistent data capture across all web properties. The role requires rigorous GTM auditing and debugging to ensure 100% accuracy and functionality of all deployed tags (including conversion pixels, remarketing tags, etc.).
  • Google Analytics (GA) & Data Analysis: Maintain and optimize Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties, including setting up goals, custom dimensions, and audiences to align with business KPIs. The specialist will develop and distribute clear, insightful reports and dashboards (using tools like Power BI or Google Looker Studio) to track key metrics and proactively analyze website traffic and user behavior data to identify performance gaps and opportunities for optimization.
  • Website Management & Technical Support: Serve as the technical point of contact between marketing and development teams for basic website issues. This also involves managing routine content updates, link checks, and minor structural improvements within the Content Management System (CMS) (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or proprietary CMS) to ensure the smooth delivery of new campaigns and landing pages.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of direct, hands-on experience managing Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (Universal Analytics and GA4).
  • GTM Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of GTM, including Data Layer structure, custom JavaScript variables, and complex trigger configurations.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to translate raw data into clear, written and visual insights that drive business decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as they relate to tag deployment and website functionality.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to quality assurance and debugging across multiple browsers and devices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with a major CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, AEM).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Google Looker Studio).
  • Knowledge of other marketing platforms (e.g., Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag).
