Payroll Accounting Officer

What You'll Do:

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processing (timekeeping, computation, adjustments, and disbursement).
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll in compliance with Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and coordinate with Accounting for proper posting and reporting.
  • Maintain and update employee records with strict confidentiality.
  • Prepare payroll reports and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
  • Support HR and Finance in audits, compliance, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Accounting, Business Management, or any related field.
  • At least 3 years of solid experience in end-to-end payroll processing (manual and/or system-based).
  • Strong exposure to payroll accounting and compliance with Philippine labor and tax regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Preferably with knowledge and hands-on experience using SAP or other payroll systems.
