Job Purpose

The Line Supervisor is responsible for overseeing station staff within an assigned rail line, ensuring compliance with operational processes, service standards, and safety regulations. This role involves supervising daily station activities, monitoring staff performance, and escalating concerns to the Senior Supervisor or central coordination team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Supervision

  • Directly oversee assigned LRT/MRT staff at multiple stations along the rail line.

  • Monitor daily staff deliverables, including application processing, card issuance, and reporting accuracy.
  • Provide guidance, support, and corrective action to staff when necessary.

  • Operational Oversight

  • Ensure smooth operations of ticketing and passenger services within assigned stations.

  • Verify the accuracy of daily and weekly summary reports prepared by staff.
  • Track and escalate any operational or technical issues to the central coordination team.

  • Compliance & Standards

  • Enforce adherence to station protocols, data privacy policies, and customer service standards.

  • Ensure all staff demonstrate professionalism and compliance with AFPI and rail operator policies.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews as required.

  • Reporting

  • Consolidate staff reports and provide performance updates to the Senior Supervisor.

  • Submit incident and operational reports in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Training & Development

  • Assist in onboarding, mentoring, and developing staff within the assigned line.

  • Identify gaps in knowledge, provide coaching, and recommend training needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; at least 2 years of supervisory experience (transport, retail, or customer service industry an advantage).
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of station operations, ticketing systems, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to handle escalations, resolve conflicts, and maintain high service standards.
