Job Purpose

The Senior Supervisor oversees Line Supervisors and ensures smooth daily operations of LRT/MRT stations across assigned lines. This role ensures compliance with operational standards, data privacy policies, and passenger service excellence. The Senior Supervisor acts as the link between station-level operations and central management, ensuring that performance, reporting, and compliance targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Supervision

  • Manage and provide guidance to Line Supervisors across designated rail lines.

  • Monitor staff and supervisor performance, ensuring service quality and adherence to protocols.
  • Oversee resolution of escalated operational and customer service issues.

  • Operational Oversight

  • Ensure consistent implementation of daily deliverables, including application processing, card issuance, and reporting accuracy.

  • Consolidate daily and weekly operational reports from Line Supervisors for submission to management.
  • Coordinate with the central team for incident management, system updates, and escalations.

  • Compliance & Standards

  • Enforce adherence to data privacy, safety standards, and professional conduct across all stations.

  • Support internal audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Ensure all staff and supervisors demonstrate professionalism in dealing with passengers.

  • Training & Development

  • Mentor Line Supervisors and identify skill gaps for training.

  • Assist in onboarding new supervisors and ensuring alignment with organizational standards.

  • Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit consolidated reports to the central coordination team and management.

  • Participate in performance reviews, audits, and strategy meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced coursework in Business, Management, or Transportation preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years supervisory experience, preferably in transport, retail, or operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of LRT/MRT station operations, fare systems, and compliance policies is an advantage.
