Purpose
The Quantity Surveyor will provide commercial and contractual support to the UAE Projects Team from the Philippines. This role will focus on preparing and reviewing project costings, monitoring budgets, evaluating supplier/subcontractor quotations, and ensuring accurate documentation for procurement, contracts, and billing. The QS will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and the Procurement team to help deliver projects on time and within budget.

Work Overview

  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope to determine accurate quantities and pricing.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist the procurement team in preparing purchase orders and validating supplier invoices.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and budgets, flagging any risks or discrepancies.
  • Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial updates for the Projects Team.
  • Support in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and commercial documentation.
  • Coordinate remotely with UAE-based Project Managers and Engineers to ensure alignment on project requirements.
  • Maintain organized records of costs, estimates, quotations, and contractual documents.
  • Provide support in claims, variations, and change order evaluations.
