I. Job Overview

The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, contract administration, and financial control for construction projects. II. Duties and responsibilities

  3. Conduct risk assessments and provide cost control strategies.
  4. Monitor and manage project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgets.

  6. Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to optimize cost efficiency.
  7. Conduct site inspections and valuation of completed work.
  8. Prepare and assess progress claims, variations, and final accounts.

III. Job Requirements

  1. With at least 6 years of experience in the relevant field.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Professional certification (RICS, CIQS, or equivalent) is preferred.
  4. Extensive experience in quantity surveying and cost management in construction.
  5. Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement strategies, and industry standards.
  6. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and project management tools.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
