Job Summary

We are seeking two (2) detail-oriented and highly analytical Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs relating to construction projects. The Quantity Surveyor will ensure that projects are completed within the approved budget while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with legal and safety requirements. The role involves cost estimation, contract management, risk assessment, and financial reporting to support decision-making throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
  • Manage contractual and financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Conduct site visits to verify progress, evaluate variations, and assess value of work done.
  • Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors for cost-effective solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports, financial statements, and forecasts for project stakeholders.
  • Provide advice on cost control, risk management, and procurement strategies.
  • Ensure proper documentation of changes in project scope, pricing, and schedules.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and site staff to support smooth project execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or contract administration (preferably in the construction industry).
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and building regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, cost estimation software, and project management tools.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Willing to relocate
