About the Project

We are looking for an experienced
Mechanical Quantity Surveyor
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of mechanical works in construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring value for money while meeting quality and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping systems, etc.)
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and measurement of mechanical works from drawings and specifications
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare cost comparisons
  • Administer contracts, including progress valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Monitor project costs and prepare periodic reports to ensure alignment with budgets
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and risk management
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure efficient project delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying for mechanical works
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and cost estimating software
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and in teams
