Warehouse Storage Team Leader

Job Summary

Responsible for the operation of a section within the Warehouse function. Supporting the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, responsible for a group of operators and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets. Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring orders targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer.

Key Accountabilities :

• Reports directly to the Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager.
• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
• Responsible for overseeing the warehouse pick and pack operations. Ensuring to observe the FEFO- first expiry first out for items with expiry dates, FIFO First IN First Out picking for no expiry dates item and the preparation turnaround time:

Consumables – 1 day : Equipment – 2 days

• Accountable for checking and assessing the warehouse utilization and reports to the Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager on a weekly basis.
• Assist in planning future capacity requirements.
• Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager
• Responsible for the receiving of the containerized receiving of shipment. Ensures to turn over the receiving documents to Inventory Pharmacist the next business day.
• Instruct and guide the warehouseman as to the proper storage of various items.
• Responsible for inspecting goods for signs of damage and reports to Warehouse and Inventory Manager of a weekly basis.
• Oversees the movement of items in and out of the storage and display areas in an efficient, effective and safe manner.
• Ensure hazardous materials are stored in accordance with requirements.
• Ensure that warehouse equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose.
• Ensure cleanliness, ventilation, and appropriate temperature for warehouse.
• Train and supervise warehouseman, to properly and timely prepare the items needed for dispatch.
• Report progress updates, key achievements and any concerns to the Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager.
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. Enforce relevant health and safety procedures throughout operations.
• Accountable on checking and performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds. AGGCT and Maliksi on a daily basis. Magis and Cartal every Wednesday and/or as needed.
• Assist Inventory Assistant-Inventory/Returns Coordinator in Random Checking and Cycle Count schedule at Magis and Cartal warehouse and Team Leader for the scheduled Cycle Count for Equipment.
• Prepares and submits Daily Accomplishment Report to Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager daily before end of business day. Warehouse Utilization, Item Condition/Damage Report and Pick and Pack Completion Report to Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager every Friday, 1700H.
• Back up: Dispatch Team Leader/WICM and back up for Dispatch Team Leader.
• Ensures compliance with VTC values, policies and standards. And strict adherence and compliance with Warehouse & Inventory Control work procedures.
• Performs other duties assigned by the Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager.

Experience & Knowledge :

• Strong working knowledge of warehouse procedures and operations

• Ability to work extended hours. Basic math and recording abilities

Organizational Relationships / Scope :

Reports to: Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php23,000.00 per month
