Business Development Officer

We are looking for a Business Development Officer who will take a key role in expanding our company's participation in government projects and renewable energy initiatives, particularly solar farm developments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing public bidding requirements, and establishing relationships with key government agencies and potential clients in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and manage public bidding transactions with government offices and agencies such as NAPOCOR, NGCP, DOE, and other related entities.
- Prepare, review, and ensure completeness of bidding documents and eligibility requirements.
- Represent the company in pre-bid meetings, bid openings, and project presentations.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in renewable energy, especially solar farm projects.
- Conduct market research and gather information about upcoming government projects and renewable energy programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officers, private clients, and industry partners.
- Assist in business registration, permits, licenses, and certification renewals required for bidding and project participation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with all bidding and project requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on business leads, project opportunities, and bidding results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in business development, government bidding, or renewable energy projects.
- Familiarity with PHILGEPS, government procurement processes, and renewable energy agencies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to travel for client meetings, site visits, or project coordination.
