Position Overview

The Business Development Officer plays a vital role in expanding EC Org Dev Services Inc.'s client base and promoting its portfolio of organizational development, learning, and consulting services. This role involves proactive outreach to potential clients through both online and offline channels, relationship-building, and coordination of meetings that lead to successful partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Prospecting: Identify, engage, and qualify potential clients through online platforms, professional communities, and networks.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in and contribute to online forums, business groups, and industry-related communities to increase awareness of EC Org Dev Services' offerings.
  • Client Outreach: Conduct office visits and in-person engagements to present the company's services and establish relationships with decision-makers.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule and coordinate meetings or presentations between potential clients and EC Org Dev Services' consultants or management team.
  • Lead Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and opportunities in the company's CRM or tracking system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align outreach efforts with campaigns, proposals, and events.
  • Sales Conversion: Support the end-to-end business development process, from initial contact to project closing, ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery team.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather insights on client needs, industry trends, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations (experience in training or HR consulting industry is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Comfortable engaging with professionals online and in person.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and social media platforms.

Work Arrangement & Benefits
