The Role
The Sales Lead plays a pivotal role in achieving business objectives by tapping into high-value prospects through a consultative sales approach. As a People Manager, this role involves leading Business Growth Managers who are tasked with generating new business opportunities and acquiring new clients by engaging HR professionals and business owners, thereby meeting talent acquisition needs and achieving key business outcomes.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plans to acquire new clients and grow market presence through proactive solution selling.
- Lead and motivate a team of Business Growth Managers to meet and exceed performance metrics and business targets. This includes hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management to ensure the team is well-equipped and proficient.
- Emphasize understanding client needs through consultative interactions to provide tailored solutions. Prioritize proactive engagement strategies to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Stay informed about industry developments through regular market reviews. Initiate sales and marketing strategies crafted to increase account coverage, improve conversion rates, and enhance customer retention.
- Find opportunities for improvement in product offerings, promotional activities, and sales strategies to better meet client needs and business objectives.
- Work closely with other departments to fulfill strategic, administrative, and operational requirements, ensuring alignment and efficiency across the organization.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A Bachelor's/College Degree in any field is required.
- Proven experience in B2B, IT sales, and/or Ecommerce, with a strong track record in consultative selling and business development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, motivating them toward high performance while being able to have difficult conversations when necessary.
- Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills, with a passion for researching market insights and developing solutions based on well-researched information.
- High level of empathy and a customer-centric approach, adept at building stable and positive relationships with both clients and team members.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, crucial for managing both internal dynamics and external client interactions.
- Dedication to embracing and promoting SEEK's core principles: Team, Passion, Delivery, and Future, providing significant value to both internal and external collaborators.
