About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance team at SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION' in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. This full-time role will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy cash flow.

What you'll be doing

  1. Process and maintain accurate accounts receivable records
  2. Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner
  3. Follow up on outstanding payments and liaise with customers to resolve any billing issues
  4. Reconcile accounts and prepare reports on the company's receivables status
  5. Assist in the credit control process and make recommendations on credit limits
  6. Support the broader Finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

What we're looking for

  1. 1-3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role, preferably in the Accounting industry
  2. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  3. Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers
  5. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently to resolve disputes
  6. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
