The Governance and Sustainability Officer is responsible for promoting sound governance practices, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory frameworks, and advancing the organization's sustainability strategy.

This role bridges corporate governance, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, helping the organization operate responsibly and transparently while achieving its long-term strategic goals.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ICSA, ESG Certification, GRI Standards, ISO 14001, CSR Certification) is an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in governance, compliance, sustainability, or corporate social responsibility roles.
  • Experience preparing reports for senior management or boards is highly desirable.
