Ensure that all workers are provided with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and that they are properly used.

Occupational Safety and Health

Develop, implement, and monitor occupational safety and health (OSH) programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with Republic Act No and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Lead accident/incident investigations and prepare reports with appropriate preventive measures.

Conduct safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.

Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies, issuing safety notices or recommendations when needed.

Coordinate with DOLE and other government agencies for compliance, audits, and mandatory reporting.

Pollution Control and Environmental Compliance:

Implement and maintain an environmental management system in compliance with DENR requirements.

Monitor the company's waste generation, treatment, and disposal processes to ensure compliance with RA 6969 (Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Waste Control Act) and RA 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act).

Conduct regular inspection of pollution control facilities and coordinate with accredited service providers for waste hauling and disposal.

Prepare and submit Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR), Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMR), and other required DENR documentation.

Provide environmental awareness training and promote best practices for pollution prevention and resource conservation.

Serve as the company's liaison to DENR and other environmental regulatory agencies.
