Job Overview
The Sales Executive is responsible for supporting the development and management of the company's sales channels, including partnerships with networks, marketing partners, and other intermediaries. This role focuses on driving sales through effective channel strategies, maintaining relationships with partners, and ensuring successful execution of channel initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in Channel Strategy Development:
Support the creation and implementation of channel sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Contribute to identifying new opportunities for channel growth and market expansion.
2. Build and Maintain Partner Relationships:
- Establish and nurture relationships with channel partners, acting as the primary point of contact for inquiries and support.
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with partners to ensure satisfaction and alignment.
3. Sales Support and Training:
- Provide training and resources to channel partners to enhance their sales effectiveness.
- Assist partners with product knowledge, sales techniques, and promotional activities.
4. Monitor Sales Performance:
- Track and report on channel sales metrics, helping to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with partners to develop action plans for achieving sales targets.
5. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to gather insights on customer needs, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
- Share findings with the sales team and channel partners to inform strategy.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, product management, and sales teams to ensure alignment on channel initiatives.
- Communicate partner feedback and insights to relevant internal stakeholders for product and service improvements.
7. Administrative Support:
- Assist with the preparation of sales reports, presentations, and documentation related to channel activities.
- Support contract management and compliance with partnership agreements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or channel management.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building.
- Good analytical skills for tracking sales performance and market trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Working Conditions
- Typically works in an office environment but may require occasional travel to meet with partners and attend industry events.
- May involve flexible hours to accommodate partner schedules.
