Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to manage and support the human resources functions of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HR operations within the construction industry, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering positive employee relations, and supporting workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with Philippine labor laws and construction industry regulations.
  • Manage employee disciplinary actions, including preparing and issuing Notice to Explain (NTE) and Notices of Termination, ensuring DOLE compliance and proper documentation.
  • Coordinate recruitment and staffing for project sites, ensuring timely hiring of qualified personnel.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and leave management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution at project sites.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on HR metrics, workforce trends, and compliance.
  • Support training and development initiatives, including safety, technical, and soft skills programs for construction staff.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to manage workforce planning, manpower allocation, and labor cost monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards, company policies, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and construction site labor compliance.
  • Experience in handling disciplinary actions, NTEs, and employee terminations in accordance with DOLE requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll administration, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and handle a diverse workforce.
