About the role

Join the dynamic HR team of Southern Arms Corporation as an HR Assistant. In this full-time role, you will provide essential HR support and contribute to the overall success of the organisation. Based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, you will be a key member of the HR department, assisting with a range of generalist HR tasks and responsibilities.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing administrative support to the HR team, including managing employee records, processing payroll, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes
  2. Coordinating HR-related events, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives
  3. Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
  4. Responding to employee inquiries and providing guidance on HR-related matters
  5. Performing data entry and generating HR reports as required
  6. Supporting the HR team in various projects and tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  1. 1-2 years of experience in an HR assistant or HR administrative role
  2. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
  4. Proficient in using HR-related software and Microsoft Office applications
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  6. Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional customer service
