Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Supervise Payroll Team:
Manage the day-to-day operations of payroll officers and assistants, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight to ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll and benefits-related tasks. - Review Payroll Transactions and Adjustments:
Oversee the validation and approval of payroll computations, including regular salaries, adjustments, overtime, deductions, and final pay processing. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing for manpower agencies. - Coordinate Payroll Reporting Across Departments:
Collaborate closely with the Finance and HR departments to ensure alignment in payroll reporting, budget tracking, headcount reconciliation, and compliance with accounting and audit requirements. - Administer Statutory and Company Benefits:
Manage the administration of employee benefits, including government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF), performance bonuses, and separation pay. Ensure all benefits are processed and distributed in accordance with legal requirements and company policies. - Ensure Compliance with Pay and Benefits Policies:
Monitor and enforce adherence to labor laws and internal policies related to benefits distribution, leave accruals, and final pay computations. Address discrepancies and ensure accurate benefit payouts upon separation. - Oversee Benefits Adjustments and Incentive Programs:
Supervise the implementation of benefits adjustments and monitor the distribution of company incentives and rewards. Work with HR leadership to evaluate and improve benefits offerings in support of employee engagement and retention. - Perform Other Related Duties as Required:
Support broader HR and Finance objectives by participating in cross-functional projects, system enhancements, process reviews, audits, and other related tasks as assigned.
