Job Description

As an Importation Specialist, you will oversee international shipment processes, coordinate with global clients and partners, and ensure seamless import operations from booking to delivery. This role requires strong logistics expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You'll handle quotations, documentation, customs coordination, and invoicing while maintaining compliance with international shipping standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in ocean and/or air freight forwarding (import operations)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Minimum 45 WPM typing speed
  • Hazmat certification is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams
  • Must be amenable to a night shift schedule and permanent work-from-home setup
