Senior Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure 100% availability of inventory in warehouses across the region.
- Maintain high product quality and compliance with supplier agreements.
- Oversee all supplier orders, deliveries, and returns while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Evaluate and act on customer feedback and complaints related to product quality.
- Optimize inventory turnover and minimize stock days to ensure cost efficiency.
- Make strategic purchasing decisions in response to market price changes and supply shortages.
- Review and validate supplier invoices; coordinate with accounting for accurate and timely payments.
- Ensure credit notes are issued for incorrect or disputed invoices.
- Manage sales of surplus or slow-moving inventory to neighboring regions.
- Report unresolved supplier or pricing issues to the Regional Manager and recommend appropriate actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in retail or trading industries.
- Strong ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and maintain product quality standards.
- Demonstrated experience in cost optimization, purchasing analysis, and supplier dispute resolution.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills for dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while ensuring operational accuracy.
- Willing to relocate or work in the Bicol Region.
