The Receiving Supervisor oversees all receiving activities to ensure the accurate, efficient, and timely acceptance, verification, and documentation of incoming goods. This role ensures compliance with company standards, coordinates with suppliers and internal departments, and maintains organized stockroom and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily receiving operations, ensuring accurate checking, counting, and documentation of all incoming deliveries.
  • Verify that items received match purchase orders, delivery receipts, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage receiving schedules, manpower assignments, and workflow efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, delivery personnel, and store departments for discrepancies, returns, and delivery-related issues.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of products in accordance with safety and quality guidelines.
  • Maintain updated receiving logs, reports, and inventory records.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of stocks and compliance with company policies.
  • Train, guide, and support receiving staff on standard procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in receiving and stockroom areas.
  • Support inventory activities such as cycle counts and stocktaking.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate preferred.
  • With experience in receiving, warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations; supervisory background is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in receiving procedures, documentation, and inventory systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to work under pressure and tight schedules.
