HR Administrator – What You'll Be Doing
As the HR Administrator, you will support day-to-day HR operations and help ensure the organization runs smoothly and stays compliant with food industry standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Handle onboarding, induction, contract preparation, employee records, exits, and offboarding processes.
- Recruitment Support: Assist with job postings, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers—especially for production, QA, logistics, and food-handling roles.
- HR Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files, ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date, and support compliance with food safety, hygiene, and labor regulations.
- Training & Compliance Tracking: Coordinate training sessions such as food safety, GMP, HACCP, workplace safety, and other regulatory training. Track employee certifications and ensure timely renewals.
- Timekeeping & Attendance: Manage attendance records, leave applications, timesheets, and coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate salary processing.
- Employee Relations Support: Assist with employee queries, support workplace investigations, and help maintain a positive and safe working environment.
- HR Reporting: Prepare HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, attendance, training completion, and recruitment updates for management.
- Health & Safety Coordination: Support HR and Operations in implementing safety policies, maintaining compliance with food industry standards, and assisting with audits.
- Administrative Duties: Handle HR correspondence, maintain HR databases/HRIS, and support general office and administrative tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who can thrive in a fast-paced food production or food service environment and provide strong administrative support to the HR team.
Requirements- Experience in the food industry (preferred) – manufacturing, processing, restaurant chains, catering, FMCG, or any environment requiring food safety compliance.
- Strong knowledge of HR administration including employee records management, onboarding, and HR documentation.
- Familiarity with food safety standards like GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, or related certifications (advantage, but not mandatory).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office, and digital record-keeping.
- Ability to work under pressure and support multiple teams, especially production and operations.
