Summary
As a Business Development Rep (BDR) for Scalable OS, you will act as the first contact for many Scalable OS prospects with the objective of assisting our Director of Business Development in selling our outsource solution. Successful BDRs will possess a demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships. Must be highly competitive, able to collaborate in a team environment, and possess strong interpersonal and communicative skills. The BDR is responsible for partnering with the Director of Business Development in driving the early stages of the sales cycle and helping with new client acquisition. The BDR team also works closely with the marketing team to follow up on marketing campaigns.
Job Responsibilities
• Meet or exceed assigned appointment-setting quota
• Follow up on inbound leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
• Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to the Director of Business Development and CEO
• Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts
• Cold calls to prospects generated by a variety of outside sources
• Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle
• Profile strategic accounts, identify key individuals, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to start the sales cycle
• Set appointments for the sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
• Nurture new leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with the Director of Business Development or CEO
• Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on a strategic sale approach
• Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM application
• Become well versed in Scalable OS' solution
• Gain an understanding of the client's business and markets and establish plans for strategic appointment setting to drive maximum adoption of company solutions and identify/drive expansion opportunities via high-value relationships with the client
• Effectively leverage supporting resources in the sales process with the spirit of teamwork and cooperation
• Create and maintain prospecting lists and update monthly lead generation reports and forecasts
• Develop outbound email campaigns and perform outbound sales activities
• Ensure all activity is logged and can be reported on; requires excellent organizational and administrative skills
• You will research, prospect, and identify targets for Scalable OS
• You will set appointments for the Director of Business Development and CEO
• You will work to establish lead generation goals, reporting weekly on agreed performance objectives and results
Qualifications
• Minimum 4 year of sales, telesales, or marketing experience running outbound enterprise B2B demand generation and lead generation activities in Enterprise/SaaS/Cloud/ IT/ Cybersecurity/ MSP industries
• Eloquent and self-confident communicator comfortable speaking with C-level contacts
• Can express their ideas in persuasive emails and other written communications
• Creativity to think outside the box and leadership to execute effectively
• Experience using marketing automation/lead nurturing systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, etc...
• Nice to have but not required to have experience using a sales engagement tool such as , Sales Loft, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence others.
• Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure.
• Mature and confident with strong interpersonal skills and a true team player.
• Self-motivated, driven, and dynamic personality.
• Attention to details, forecasting lead goals
• Bachelor's degree required
