Baker (Cakes and Pastries) - Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, bake, and decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked products according to company standards.
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately following recipes and production guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all baked items.
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment, ovens, mixers, and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve desired results.
  • Assist in developing new pastry and cake recipes or improving existing ones.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Properly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
  • Manage inventory of baking supplies and report shortages promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen or pastry team to meet daily production targets.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Cook, or similar role.
  • Knowledgeable in cake baking, decorating, and pastry preparation.
  • Familiarity with baking tools, equipment, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and maintain consistency.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in decoration and product presentation.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • High school graduate; certification or training in Baking or Pastry Arts is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php18,500.00 per month
