Baker Team Leader – Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the baking team to ensure efficient daily production of cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
  • Oversee preparation, baking, and decoration processes to maintain product quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
  • Assign tasks and monitor staff performance, providing guidance and training when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in all baking areas.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients, materials, and supplies; coordinate with purchasing for replenishment.
  • Review and improve recipes, production processes, and workflows to increase efficiency and product quality.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products before release.
  • Plan production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders and daily targets.
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment while ensuring safe and proper usage by the team.
  • Prepare daily production reports and communicate updates or concerns to management.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Cook, with at least 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge in cake production, pastry preparation, baking techniques, and decoration.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle production pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to work early mornings, shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Vocational course or certification in Baking/Pastry Arts is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php19, Php19,562.00 per month
