VR Centre is Australia's leading provider of immersive and AI-enhanced education tools. We partner with RTOs, TAFEs, universities, and schools to modernise training through virtual environments, AI tutors, assessment feedback tools, and avatar-led role-play simulations.

The Role

We're hiring a full-time Salesperson to grow across schools and education providers in Australia. You'll get structured training (scripts → training videos) and practice with a lifelike avatar "customer" to sharpen discovery, demos, and objection handling before jumping on real calls. Great fit for early-career sales talent who are coachable, organised, and hungry to learn.

What You'll Do
  • Prospect and qualify schools, RTOs, and education providers across Australia.
  • Run discovery calls, demos, and follow-ups; keep a clean CRM pipeline.
  • Tailor VR and AI solutions (e.g., AI tutors, assessment tools, role-play simulations) to each school's needs.
  • Book and run meetings with decision makers (principals, heads of department, training managers).
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Product on proposals, pilots, and onboarding handoffs.
  • Hit monthly targets for meetings, demos, and qualified opportunities.
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
  • Excellent English (spoken & written): confident on video/phone; clear, easy-to-understand delivery.
  • Market experience or readiness: proven success selling to US/AU/NZ/Asia (any one is fine) or strong evidence you can ramp fast with coaching (wins from support/teaching/CSR, side projects, etc.).
  • Outbound prospecting chops: can research accounts, build target lists, and run multi-touch sequences (email, LinkedIn, calls) that convert to meetings.
  • Discovery & demo skills: you ask smart questions, tailor demos to a school's needs, and handle objections (budget/timing/stakeholders) with calm, positive persistence.
  • Multi-stakeholder selling: comfortable navigating principals, heads of department, IT, procurement, and training managers.
  • Process-driven & coachable: you like playbooks, scripts, and scorecards; you keep immaculate CRM notes and accept weekly call reviews.
  • Time-zone alignment: able to work AU business hours; occasional flexibility to meet US/NZ/Asia stakeholders when needed.
  • Tools: experience with a CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), Google Workspace, Zoom/Meet, and LinkedIn (Sales Navigator a plus).
  • Professional writing: concise outreach, clear follow-ups, and proposal/recap emails that move deals forward.
Nice to Have
  • EdTech / Education background (K–12, RTO/TAFE/VET, or Higher Ed), or selling SaaS to public sector/schools.
  • Familiarity with AU (state systems & school terms), NZ (MoE/boards), US (districts), and Asia (international/independent schools) buying cycles.
  • Experience running pilots/POCs, basic RFP exposure, and working with channel partners/resellers in Asia.
  • Comfort positioning VR/AI solutions (we'll train you thoroughly).
  • Evidence of consistent activity/targets in prior roles (quality meetings set, demos/month, pipeline hygiene, SQOs).
Training & Support
  • Structured onboarding with step-by-step playbooks and training scripts
  • Video-based training derived from those scripts.
  • Avatar practice customer sessions with feedback.
  • Ongoing coaching, call reviews, and a clear progression path.
Compensation & Incentives
  • Pay: 31,000 Php to 47,000 Php + commissions.
Work Setup & Schedule
  • Location: Remote (Philippines)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, aligned to Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)
