About the Human Resources Officer/Talent Acquisition position

We're looking for a dynamic, people-centered Human Resources Officer with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition.

This role is more than just hiring—it's about shaping the heartbeat of the organization. This position plays a vital role in attracting, welcoming, and supporting exceptional talent while nurturing a workplace culture rooted in respect, engagement, and growth.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  2. Coordinate job postings, screen applications, and schedule interviews with warmth and professionalism

  3. Communicate with candidates in a timely, respectful, and engaging manner
  4. Support hiring managers with interview logistics and evaluation materials
  5. Facilitate onboarding experiences that are welcoming, informative, and culturally aligned
  6. Prepare welcome kits, orientation schedules, and introductions that make new hires feel truly seen

  7. Teammate Engagement & Culture Building

  8. Assist in planning recognition programs, team-building activities, and cultural celebrations

  9. Help track birthdays, milestones, and anniversaries—ensuring no one feels overlooked
  10. Support internal communications that uplift and inform (e.g., newsletters, shout-outs, event teasers)
  11. Collaborate on initiatives that promote inclusivity, wellness, and belonging

  12. HR Administration & Compliance

  13. Maintain accurate teammate records and databases

  14. Assist with timekeeping, leave tracking, and benefits coordination
  15. Ensure HR policies are communicated clearly and updated regularly
  16. Support audits and compliance checks with diligence and discretion

  17. Performance & Development Support

  18. Help coordinate feedback cycles, evaluations, and growth conversations

  19. Track training participation and support learning initiatives
  20. Assist in organizing workshops, coaching sessions, or leadership development programs

  21. Teammate Relations & Support

  22. Be a friendly, confidential point of contact for teammate concerns or questions

  23. Help mediate minor conflicts or misunderstandings with empathy and fairness
  24. Support exit interviews and offboarding with grace and gratitude
Human Resources/Talent Acquisition requirements are:

Education & Experience

  • Prior experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or teammate engagement is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a caring, professional tone
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and empathy
  • Proficiency in HR systems, applicant tracking tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Creative mindset for crafting engaging messages, event invites, and recognition posts
