Assistant HR Manager

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Assistant HR Manager to lead and oversee human resource functions within our interior fit-out company. In this role, you will support the HR department in shaping HR policies, managing HR operations, and driving initiatives that foster a productive and compliant workplace environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making skills, and the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the HR Manager in developing, implementing, and reviewing HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and legal standards.
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition processes, including strategic planning, interviewing, and onboarding, to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Oversee employee relations, resolve HR issues, and promote a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Manage performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and employee development programs.
- Supervise HR team activities, delegate tasks, and ensure efficient HR operations.
- Monitor compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead initiatives for employee engagement, training, and organizational development.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR best practices across projects and teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification preferred.
- Proven managerial experience in HR, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within the construction, interior fit-out, or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, health and safety regulations, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office, and data analysis tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing HR in a project-based or fast-paced environment.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php55, Php60,000.00 per month
