Job Title: Kitchen Crew

Department: Back of House (BOH)

Reports To: Kitchen Head / Branch Manager

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Crew is responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to Giligan's standards. They ensure food safety, cleanliness, and timely service while maintaining the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating based on standard recipes and portion sizes.

· Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen tools, equipment, and workstations.

· Monitor inventory levels and notify superiors of shortages or spoilage.

· Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times (including proper storage and labeling).

· Ensure minimal wastage and proper handling of ingredients.

· Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries.

· Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen staff and comply with instructions from the Kitchen Head or Head Cook.

· Perform other duties as assigned related to kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

· High school graduate or vocational course in culinary is an advantage.

· Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.

· Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene.

· Can work long hours, under pressure, and as part of a team.

· Willing to be assigned to any branch or shifting schedule.
