The Wok Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic Asian dishes using wok techniques. This role requires speed, consistency, and attention to detail to maintain the quality and taste standards of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items using wok, grill, steamer, and fryer according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
  • Ensure proper seasoning, flavor, and presentation of all dishes before serving.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wok station, cooking equipment, and utensils at all times.
  • Monitor inventory of ingredients at the station and report shortages to the Store Manager
  • Comply with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards set by the company.
  • Assist in receiving, checking, and properly storing deliveries of ingredients and supplies.
  • Minimize food waste by following proper storage and portioning practices.
  • Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager or Management.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years Graduate of HRS or equivalent; Culinary training is an advantage but not required.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years' experience as a Wok Cook or Line Cook in a restaurant setting.
  • Knowledge of Asian/Chinese cuisine, sauces, and stir-fry cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physically fit to stand for long hours and handle hot equipment.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedule, weekends, and holidays.
  • Can do multitasking
  • Willing to work in Quezon City

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php695.00 per day
