Job Overview:

Discover Group of Travel Services Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and well-traveled individual to join our team as part of our Research and Development Department. This role is key in conceptualizing and designing compelling, well-curated international tour packages that align with client expectations and elevate the Discover Travel experience.

The ideal candidate must have a strong personal background in international travel (having visited 6–10 or more countries) and have personally planned those travels, including itineraries, accommodations, and destination highlights. This hands-on experience ensures authenticity, practicality, and creativity in crafting unique travel solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and conceptualize travel itineraries for various international destinations, tailored to different market segments (solo travelers, families, couples, etc.).
  • Identify must-see attractions, hidden gems, activities, and experiences that are both engaging and logistically feasible.
  • Create detailed day-by-day itineraries, including transport logistics, accommodation suggestions, and attraction timings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure packages are practical, bookable, and aligned with client demands.
  • Monitor travel trends, visa policies, seasonal events, and destination-related news to keep packages current and competitive.
  • Ensure all tour packages meet brand standards in terms of tone, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide destination insights from personal travel experience and contribute tips that enhance the traveler experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must have personally traveled to at least 3-5 countries (or more), with firsthand experience in independently planning those trips or DIY trips.
  • Proven passion for travel and an understanding of diverse cultures, customs, and tourism infrastructures.
  • Excellent writing and research skills with strong attention to detail and itinerary flow.
  • Creative thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, travel planning tools, and online research platforms.
  • Background in tourism, hospitality, or related fields is a plus, but not required.
