We're looking for a Business Development Officer to join our team and help identify new opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and drive proposal development for key public sector engagements.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct market research on trends, policies, and opportunities in the public and private sectors
  • Analyze performance data and develop reports to guide business strategy
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
  • Support the preparation of proposals and presentations for government agencies
  • Build basic financial models to support business cases and investments
  • Attend client meetings, events, and conferences as needed
  • Support leadership with special projects and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, market research, or strategy
  • Understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and digital marketing basics
  • A self-starter who can collaborate and work independently
  • Open to occasional travel
