Job Summary

The Assessment/ Evaluation, Research and Publication Officer is responsible for the monitoring and implementation of the research policies. The manager assures that AMAES Research Agenda is observed and keep an up-to-date faculty and student publications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the implementation of the approved AMAES Research Agenda thru close coordination with the School Directors/Dens/Program Heads.
  • Facilitate research trainings and conferences/colloquia in coordination with the HRD- Training Manager
  • Evaluation and monitoring of research submissions by AMAES faculty members.
  • Identifies and select expert reviewers/referees for the evaluation of research papers. Collates and finalizes approved/reviewed research manuscripts for publication in the academic journals.
  • Facilitate benchmarking activities to ensure that faculty and student publications are up-to-date.
  • Prepare budget for publications.
  • Edit manuscript selected by the Editorial Board
  • Manage circulation and distribution of publications
  • Creation and updating of test banks for future use and reference
  • Managing the backup/restore and other configurations for the LMS
  • Perform other related duties that me be assigned by the CAO

Supervises:

  • Works with and supervises the Research Coordinators of the different brands and branches to foster a research culture, build partnerships, and ensure effective management for both faculty and students.
  • Deans and Academic Coordinators

Qualifications

  • Master's degree holder from a highly reputable university with good track record in producing research output and development and implementation of research agenda.
  • Experience in policy implementation and monitoring
  • Basic knowledge of means of evaluating and learning from research processes
  • Excellent written and spoken English and ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledgeable in the different research-related policies from different regulatory bodies. Training:
  • Proficiency using computer systems and software such as Microsoft Office Suites, word processing, spreadsheets, database systems and the internet to research and prepare materials

Skills :

  • Results orientated and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
  • Project Management skills

Tools to be used:

  • SPSS or any other related statistical software application training.
  • Familiarity in using anti-plagiarism software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
