About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Officer to join the team at Phoenix Sun International Corporation. As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and contributing to the overall financial management of the organisation. Based in our office in Fort Bonifacio Taguig City Metro Manila, this is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Coordinates with Bank Officers
  • Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Providing support for audits and compliance-related activities
  • Analysing financial data and providing recommendations to management
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of financial policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
