Job Purpose

The Finance Officer (General Ledger & Revenue Assurance) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial and revenue records. This role combines core accounting functions, such as general ledger management and financial reporting, with revenue assurance duties that safeguard the company's topline by validating all sales and revenue transactions across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Financial Reporting

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and adjustments.
  • Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare and file financial reports, tax returns, and statutory submissions.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring timely and complete responses to auditor inquiries.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within financial reporting.

Revenue Assurance

  • Monitor and reconcile daily sales and revenue across multiple brands and channels (O2O, delivery apps, direct orders, and B2B).
  • Validate that all sales transactions are properly captured in the POS, Alfred, and NetSuite systems.
  • Review platform commission deductions, refunds, discounts, and promotional expenses for accuracy.
  • Detect, investigate, and resolve revenue discrepancies and leakages in coordination with Commercial, Operations, and Tech teams.
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly revenue assurance reports to highlight risks, trends, and corrective actions.
  • Support audits and documentation for all revenue-related transactions.
  • Contribute to improving systems and processes related to sales reporting and revenue recognition.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or revenue assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., PFRS, IFRS) and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the F&B, tech, or e-commerce industry is an advantage.
