Job Summary:

The Senior Finance Officer - Accounting is a key technical role within the finance department, responsible for handling complex accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. This position involves performing full-cycle accounting, ensuring strict compliance with tax regulations, and supporting financial audits. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong foundation in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and extensive experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the logistics or technology industry.

Key Responsibilities:

· General Ledger & Financial Reporting:

o Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.

o Lead the month-end and year-end closing procedures, including the preparation of journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.

o Prepare accounting report and support the Accounting Manager and Supervisor

o Perform in-depth financial analysis on accounts, identifying and investigating variances and providing insightful commentary.

· Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

o Assist in the preparation of accounting reports

Qualifications and Skills:

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or finance related

· Experience:

o A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in general or financial accounting.

o Experience in the logistics, e-commerce, or a multinational corporate environment is a significant advantage.

· Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas.

· Soft Skills:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

o Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

o A high degree of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
