Social Worker Supervisor - Corporate Sustainability and Initiatives Office (CSIO)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join us as the Social Worker Supervisor of the Corporate Sustainability and Initiatives Office (CSIO). This leadership role is central to driving our health and sustainability programs, aligned with the MDH Social Vision, the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 5, 13, and 17).

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of CSIO programs, co-lead strategic initiatives, mentor team members, and build strong partnerships with NGOs, LGUs, national agencies, and international humanitarian organizations. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on health, environment, gender equality, inclusion, disaster response, and global sustainability integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor the implementation of CSIO Health Programs and sustainability initiatives.
  • Co-manage programs such as Green Rebellion, Men Caring for Women (MCW), CSIO Circle of Partners, SHINE, HEARD, and REDI.
  • Lead the MDH External Medical and Surgical Missions in coordination with mission leadership.
  • Work with the CSIO Head to set the overall direction for CSIO programs and ensure sound financial and administrative management.
  • Mentor and supervise a team that includes Senior Social Workers, a Program Coordinator, and an Advocacy & Partnership Associate.
  • Strengthen partnerships with local, national, and international organizations to advance program impact.
  • Co-lead UN Global Compact integration, ensuring compliance, reporting, and active participation in sustainability forums.
  • Represent CSIO in internal and external meetings and lead special projects in collaboration with stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in social work

  • Licensed Registered Social Worker (RSW)

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in sustainability, health, or social development programs.
  • Strong background in program management, advocacy, and partnerships.
  • Knowledge of UNGC principles and the SDGs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor teams and manage multi-stakeholder collaborations.
