JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Welfare Desk Officer to manage worker welfare, liaise with government agencies, assist in pre-deployment processes, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage cases effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with MWO/POLO, OWWA, DMW/POEA, embassies, and legal teams regarding worker cases.
  • Attend SENA Conciliations and provide updates to the AM.
  • Ensure proper documentation for closures, settlements, and repatriation.
  • Conduct Pre-Departure Briefings (PDB) for departing workers.
  • Ensure completion of necessary forms (Acknowledgement, No Fees Certification, Photo Consent, Covid Declaration, etc.).
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and internal policies.
  • Assist with document management and quality system updates.
  • Identify risks and recommend process improvements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have Bachelor's Degree in BS Psychology
  • 2 years working experience in welfare or support in related field;
  • Preferably a licensed Psychometrician,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and crisis management abilities.
  • High level of accountability, integrity, motivation and commitment;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience
